Our recommendation is to use Avianca or JetBlue, as they have direct flights from Puerto Rico to the city of Medellín (the airport code is MDE). You can also choose to fly to Bogotá (BOG) and then fly to Medellín. Regardless of the route you choose, you will arrive at the airport in the city of Rionegro (José María Córdoba). Then, by land, you must reach Medellín. The easiest way to get to and from the city to the airport is by Uber, taxi, or special service; it takes about 30 minutes.
